This ain't your granddaddy's Acrobat

So, Adobe has recently unveiled the new Acrobat.com (beta). It's a pretty neat service, that has:

- Buzzword (web-based, collaborative word-processing)
- ConnectNow (ad-hoc web-meetings with Acrobat Connect Pro)
- CreatePDF (free, PDF conversion system)
- Share (like a drop-box for larger files for team collaboration, etc)
- My Files (a place to keep 'your' files -- the most boring feature of the bunch

It's a pretty hot service, especially when you consider this is just public beta -- not even version 1 software. And considered along with other apps like Photoshop Express and Premiere Express, Adobe really appears to be taking the web seriously as a platform -- using their own technologies, of course, as the building blocks.
