Spry preso Friday 1/11 in Pomona

For those of you in the Inland Empire (or those of you wanting to schlep up the 10), I'll be doing a presentation on Spry: The other four letter S-Word on Friday night at 7pm at Cal Poly Pomona for the Inland Empire ColdFusion User Group (http://www.iecfug.org/). For those of you who might have seen my preso a few months ago at the LAdobe User Group (http://www.laadug.org/), it'll be a lot like that with some new wrinkles. I'll show off all the Dreamweaver extensions for Spry and then I'll show you how to make tool tips in Spry like you see on Flickr or Google Maps as well as how I tweaked the Spry Tabbed Panels to allow for image rollover and tab onClick events. It's a free event and no, you don't have to know ColdFusion to attend. I sure don't! Cost is free and you don't have to RSVP. Check out iecfug.org for more info.

Good question, Chris. I don't know. Have you ever met Luis Majano? He runs IECFUG and he didn't record the preso I saw in September but that doesn't mean he's not going to do it Friday night. Contact him at lmajano at gmail dot com

The good news was it was recorded. The bad news is the MacBook Pro Luis was using ran out of battery power pretty fast. So we switched to a PC midway through the preso and couldn't get the audio to work. So it's silent movie time for the second half.
