Deploying from Flash

Been learning some AIR. As someone who used Screenweaver, mProjector, Zinc, and many of the previous tools of the trade, I am very impressed in some ways with AIR.

I've been looking at the custom badge install recently. I even managed to create my own.

However, my site is entirely Flash. I have not been able to figure out if it's possible to deploy an AIR project from Flash. By deploy, I don't mean simply download the AIR app. I mean tie in to the AIR deployment engine, which detects if the user has the most recent AIR runtime, and acts accordingly.

Can this be done in Flash?
